There is a misperception that they rode a hot QB/WR combo during their playoff run. Reality is Burrow was good, but not particularly great; Kinda the same for Chase.
Bengals have a lot more well rounded of a team than people want to give them credit for. Not many holes with their line cleaned up, aside from maybe their LB’s, maybe TE
They are absolutely loaded on offense. They have the best receiving corp, a top 3-5 QB, a top tier RB (and sorta underrated depth), revamped offensive line
Injuries decimated the Ravens last year, but even healthy I don’t think their roster is at the Bengals level. It’s not really close on offense — Bengals have a pretty significant edge in skill position aside from TE. Ravens have edges defensively in the middle, but Bengals are pretty solid up front and on the back end
And then you factor in the intangible shit. Burrow has that Brady like swag. The team doesn’t commit penalties, least in the league. Now they have some deep playoff experience
This feels like a year they take a step forward in the regular season, but maybe a little disappointing in the playoffs compared to last season’s run.
The value is on the Bengals. It’s their division to lose
Browns are a circus and Steelers are offensively challenged
